the PINNED BUILDS
ALTITUDE 2 — SIBLING PLATE, THE PINS: the nineteen consumers in the cabinet’s tree and the atlas’s own app as stacks of what they pin, a course per family part and a plate per runtime dependency, each read where its installer reads it — the tree for a pnpm member, its own lockfile for an npm consumer — against npm’s latest · rows read census-pins.json, both readings, @ eb1162da
GENERAL NOTES
Two altitudes. Sheet 2E seats each consumer on the family parts it pins; this plate opens the pin itself. A pnpm member — the sample apps and the docs site — names a family part catalog:workspace, which the workspace's catalog reads workspace:*, and resolves it to the tree: the part's own build at the ref, linked, its version the member's own. An embedded example under examples/ and the atlas's own app install with npm from the registry, each through its own package-lock.json, so each pin is a published version. Of 39 family pins, 11 read from the tree and 28 from a lockfile, 21 of them in the cabinet's tree and 7 the atlas app's, read from git archive www/ @ 2011c945.
The npm layer. The npm consumers' lockfiles are version 3 in six and version 4 in six. Their overrides and patches are their own manifests': hellosolarsystem, hellogalaxy, hellosolarsystem-signals, hellogalaxy-signals and hellogalaxy-effect override d3-color and patch @uirouter/[email protected]; lint-eslint patches [email protected]; altitude-atlas-app overrides @google/model-viewer › three. The pnpm members install under the workspace's 20 overrides and 5 patches in pnpm-workspace.yaml: @api-viewer/, @api-viewer/, @uirouter/, braces and lit-dialog.
Where the layers part. Below the family courses each stack carries a plate per runtime dependency, its version read the same way: 87 runtime dependencies over the twenty consumers. Where the tree and the npm layer run different majors, effect resolves 4.0.5 from the tree and 3.22.1 and 3.22.2 in the npm layer. Across the npm consumers alone, @google/model-viewer resolves 4.3.1 and 4.4.0, each lockfile holding its own resolution of the range.
Against latest. Every family pin is read against the latest tag lit-ui-router and its siblings carry in census-npm.json at the same sha. Pins trailing it: none; pins ahead of it: none. A trailing course is hatched red. Every number on this sheet is read from www/, census-builds.json and census-bricks.json — counted at origin/main @ eb1162da (2026-10-18), the atlas app at www/atlas @ 2011c945.
KEY
| a family pin — one brick course in its sheet 2 hue, read from a lockfile: the npm consumer’s own | |
| a dashed course — a family pin read from the tree: the pnpm member links the part’s own build at the ref | |
| a red-hatched course — a pin whose resolved version trails npm’s latest | |
| a runtime plate — one per non-family dependency the consumer installs, lettered with its resolved version; dashed when it is a workspace member | |
| a consumer’s tag — its number and kind as sheet 2E tags it: S sample app, D docs site, E example, A atlas app | |
| an accent-edged panel — the atlas app’s build, on its own branch |
